Ruth 1:1-4; vv. 11-15; vv 16-21; Ruth 4:13-17 The Book of Ruth serves us as an ordinary reminder of covenant—God’s love and commitment to his people. And more specifically, God uses an ordinary woman such as Ruth, and “run of the mill” townspeople from Bethlehem to remind Naomi of the faithfulness of her God.
